Softball Recap: Dodge County Indians vs. Washington County Golden Hawks

Dodge County never got on the board in their matchup on Wednesday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Washington County on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Golden Hawks with a sharp 12-4 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Indians also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Emily Jones spent all five innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on seven hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Halle Lowery and Gabriella Robinson did most of the damage at the plate: Lowery went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple, while Robinson got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.
