Baseball Game Preview: Wright Tech Warriors vs. Kaynor Tech Panthers

Wright Tech is 0-6 against Kaynor Tech since May of 2022 but things could change on Tuesday. The Warriors will venture away from home to challenge the Panthers at 3:45 p.m. Wright Tech has given up an average of 11.1 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Wright Tech is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They came up short against O'Brien RVT on Friday, falling 17-5.

Meanwhile, after only two runs in their last contest, Kaynor Tech made sure to put some runs up on the board against Wilbur Cross on Monday. The Panthers put the hurt on the Governors with a sharp 14-7 win. Considering the Panthers have won nine games by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Kaynor Tech pushed their record up to 14-5 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.5 runs over those games. As for Wright Tech, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.

Wright Tech might still be hurting after the 11-0 defeat they got from Kaynor Tech when the teams last played last Friday. Can the Warriors avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
