Soccer Recap: Raleigh Charter Takes a Loss

Raleigh Charter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Research Triangle Raptors. The game got a bit rough at times, as the refs handed out a total of three yellow cards before it was all over: Raleigh Charter's Henry Henson and Research Triangle's Christopher Hernandez and Cameron Greenbaum were all carded.

Raleigh Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Research Triangle, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Raleigh Charter will head out to face off against Voyager Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Research Triangle, they will venture away from home to square off against Hillside at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
