Cole Allen Delivers Best Effort of Season

On Friday, St. John got the W thanks in part to Cole Allen playing the best football he has all season. Allen rushed for 439 yards and seven touchdowns while picking up 15.7 yards per carry, and also caught a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 82-yard run.

Allen might have his next game, a home matchup with Episcopal School of Dallas, circled on his calendar. Allen rushed for 242 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 9.3 yards per carry, and also picked up 73 receiving yards and a touchdown the last time he and the Eagles duked it out back in October of 2023.

Kinkaid Gets a Boost from Shanks Jr. in 16-14 Victory

Kinkaid picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Wayne Shanks Jr.. Shanks Jr. turned in nothing short of a gem, picking up 126 receiving yards and two touchdowns, while also rushing for 85 yards. He showed off some serious burst, lighting up the secondary with a catch for 53 yards.

Kinkaid's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-1. Shanks Jr. and Kinkaid will head out to face off against Cooper at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

David Capobianco and Co. Win Seventh in a Row

David Capobianco was instrumental in extending Kinkaid's winning streak to seven on Friday. Capobianco threw for 165 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 82 yards, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.

On the season, Capobianco has thrown 10 touchdowns while averaging 152.1 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after eight games last season, he was only averaging 1.88 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 20.13 rushing yards.

Shea Quinn Makes It Two for St. John's
