Basketball Recap: Coleville Makes It Six in a Row at Home

Coleville extended their home winning streak to six games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Ashley Tovar. The Coleville Wolves took their game on Monday with ease, bagging a 55-14 victory over the Mammoth Huskies thanks in part to Tovar, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 15 steals. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in steals.

Another player making a difference was Kenna Lange, who posted eight points in addition to 12 rebounds and six assists. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 8.2 boards per game.

Coleville's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Mammoth, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Coleville will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Pyramid Lake at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Mammoth, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Lone Pine at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
