LaGrange had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the eight-run drubbing they dealt Spalding on Thursday. The Grangers blew past the Jaguars 10-2. Considering the Grangers have won six contests by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

LaGrange's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-5. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.6 runs on average over those games. As for Spalding, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-8 record this season.

LaGrange will venture away from home to face off against Whitewater at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Spalding, they will square off against Callaway at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
