Softball Recap: Friday's Victory Is Dade County's 15th in Last 17 Outings

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Dade County had no problem doing just that on Friday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Banks County Leopards a 1-0 shutout.

Dade County has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 17 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 31-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Banks County, their loss dropped their record down to 28-6.

Dade County didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 4-1 defeat against Gordon Lee on the 31st. Banks County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
