Soccer Recap: Gridley Comes Up Short

In Friday's Canine Competition, Gridley didn't have enough. They lost 8-0 to the Sutter Huskies on Friday. If Gridley were looking for revenge after losing 5-0 to Sutter when the teams met back in January of 2022, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Gridley's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Sutter, they pushed their record up to 10-5-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Gridley will take on Oroville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Gridley are facing Oroville at the right time seeing as Oroville are stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Sutter, they will face off against El Camino at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
