Basketball Recap: Academy for Academic Excellence Has No Trouble Against California Lutheran

After losing to California Lutheran the last time they met, Academy for Academic Excellence decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Academy for Academic Excellence Knights took down the California Lutheran C-Hawks 35-16 on Wednesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Knights.

Cailin Schroeder and Lucy Greuel certainly did their best on Wednesday to avoid the loss. Schroeder posted 12 points and eight boards, while Greuel scored two points. That was a full 75% of California Lutheran's points, marking the third time in a row she's put up more than a third of the team's points.

Academy for Academic Excellence's win bumped their record up to 9-14. As for California Lutheran, they dropped their record down to 2-13 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

As of now, neither Academy for Academic Excellence nor California Lutheran have any future games scheduled.
