Kearney Catholic has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will challenge the Battle Creek Braves at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Kearney Catholic took Chase County into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-19, 22-25, 19-25, 17-15.
If Laurel-Concord-Coleridge wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Battle Creek, they should've done a better job of containing Jaidyn Smutny. Battle Creek walked away with a 3-1 win over Laurel-Concord-Coleridge on Saturday thanks in part to Smutny, who had 34 digs and three aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in the last 21 games she's played.
