Softball Recap: Skiatook Comes Up Short

Skiatook was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost an 8-7 heartbreaker at the hands of the Sperry Pirates. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pirates this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-5 on September 13th.

Skiatook's defeat dropped their record down to 11-17. As for Sperry, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-15.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Pirates beat Skiatook by a score of 9-7 later that day.
