Soccer Recap: Christian Brothers Plays to a Tie

Christian Brothers can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. Neither they nor the Ponderosa Bruins could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked the Falcons' first draw of the season.

With that draw, Christian Brothers' record moves to 5-6-1. Meanwhile, Ponderosa's record is now 2-3-2.

Christian Brothers' offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. As for Ponderosa, they will square off against Rio Americano at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Ponderosa's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
