Softball Recap: Mexico's Winning Streak Snapped at Four Games

After a string of four wins, Mexico's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They lost 10-2 to the Elsberry Indians. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Indians apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Mexico saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Landri Teel, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Mexico's loss dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Elsberry, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mexico will venture away from home to challenge Kirksville at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Elsberry, they will square off against Louisiana at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
