Basketball Game Preview: Fulton Jaguars vs. East Valley Falcons

The Fulton Jaguars will take on the East Valley Falcons at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Fulton hasn't scored more than 22 points for four games straight, a trend the squad is eager to reverse.

Fulton is headed into the match out to prove that what happened against Sherman Oaks CES on Monday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Fulton was beaten by Sherman Oaks CES 56-4. The Jaguars were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 33-0.

Meanwhile, East Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They were dealt a 59-9 defeat at the hands of Northridge Academy. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 1273rd, while the Pumas are ranked 539th).

East Valley's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Fulton, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-9.

Fulton was able to grind out a solid victory over East Valley when the teams last played back in January, winning 31-19. Does Fulton have another victory up their sleeve, or will East Valley turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
