Basketball Recap: Montgomery Find Success

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Montgomery walked away with it. They came out on top against the Arcata Tigers by a score of 48-41 on Tuesday.

Arcata's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mae Wolford, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyla Kinyon, who posted 11 points.

Montgomery is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-10 record this season. This is the second loss in a row for Arcata and nudges their season record down to 18-9.

Montgomery has already played their next game, a 63-42 defeat against Redwood on the 21st. Arcata does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
