Basketball Recap: Citrus Hill Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Citrus Hill played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against the Paloma Valley Wildcats, falling 63-39. The Hawks were down 51-22 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Paloma Valley got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Winnie Madut out in front who posted 19 points. Another player making a difference was Mianna Bravo, who earned 15 points.

Citrus Hill has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season. As for Paloma Valley, their win ended a ten-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Citrus Hill will square off against San Gorgonio at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Paloma Valley, they will challenge Rancho Mirage at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
