Softball Recap: Keokuk Comes Up Short

Keokuk was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 12-7 to the Fairfield Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-0 on June 12th.

Keokuk's loss dropped their record down to 3-23. As for Fairfield, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 15-13 record.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Trojans beat Keokuk by a score of 10-8 later that day.
