Baseball Recap: Beach Takes a Loss

Beach was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 19-3 to the Jenkins Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 on Tuesday.

Beach's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Jenkins, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 12-5.

After both having extra time off, Beach and Groves will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:00 p.m. on April 8. Beach's pitchers better be ready for this one: Groves has averaged an impressive 8 runs per game this season. As for Jenkins, they have already played their next match, a 7-6 victory against Bryan County on the 26th.
