While Dickson didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-19), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They walked away with a 6-2 win over the Durant Lions on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Comets in their matchups with the Lions: they've now won four in a row.

Dickson's win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Durant, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Coming up, Dickson will face off against Lindsay at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Leopards' pitching crew has only allowed 0.8 runs per game this season, so the Comets' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Durant, they will take on Shawnee at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
