Softball Recap: Madill Comes Up Short

Madill fell victim to Lone Grove and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 10-0 to the Longhorns. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their defeat to the Longhorns from their previous meeting back in August of 2022.

Madill has also been struggling recently as they've lost 16 of their last 20 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-21 record this season. As for Lone Grove, the victory (which was their 17th in a row) raised their record to 27-3.

Madill has already played their next game (against Tishomingo), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Lone Grove, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Lindsay on the 25th.
