Baseball Recap: Dutchtown Bulldogs vs. Lovejoy Wildcats
Dutchtown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 6-5 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lovejoy Wildcats. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.
Trejean Webb put in work no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Webb was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-4.
