Softball Recap: Pocahontas Now 7-1 over Last Eight Games

The Pocahontas Indians got the win against the Glenwood Rams on Saturday by a conclusive 13-5. The Indians might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matches by eight runs or more this season.

Pocahontas is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.6 runs on average over those games. As for Glenwood, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-12.

Pocahontas has already played their next game, an 8-4 win against Denison-Schleswig on the 21st. Glenwood has also already played their next matchup (against Ridge View), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
