Basketball Recap: San Juan Hills Extends Winning Streak to Two

Portola came into Friday's match looking for another win against San Juan Hills, but Anna Shreeve wouldn't allow it. The San Juan Hills Stallions strolled past the Portola Bulldogs with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 63-49 thanks in part to Shreeve, who dropped a double-double on 29 points and 11 boards. Her evening made it six games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points.

Another player making a difference was Olivia Morgan, who posted 11 points and seven rebounds. She is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for four straight games.

The win made it two in a row for San Juan Hills and bumps their season record up to 7-6. As for Portola, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 5-9.

San Juan Hills will take on Victory Christian Academy in a tournament on Thursday. As for Portola, they will be taking part in a tournament against Virgin Valley at 8:20 p.m. on December 27th.
