Football Recap: Putnam Valley Takes a Loss

Putnam Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a blow against the Nanuet Golden Knights, falling 35-6. The Tigers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Golden Knights from their previous meeting back in September of 2023.

Putnam Valley now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Nanuet, their win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Putnam Valley is set to challenge their familiar foe Ardsley at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Nanuet will square off against rival Pearl River at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
