St. Francis won the last time they faced Benzie Central and things went their way on Friday too. The Gladiators really took it to the Huskies for the full four quarters, racking up a 56-20 victory. Given the Gladiators' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 86th, while the Huskies are ranked 372nd) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

St. Francis' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Braxton Lesinski, who rushed for 84 yards and one score on only five carries, and also caught one touchdown. Those 84 rushing yards gave Lesinski a new career-high. Another signal caller making a difference was Tyler Endres, who threw for 90 yards and a pair of TDs on only eight passes.

The win was the third in a row for St. Francis, bringing their record up to 3-0. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 42.7 points this season. As for Benzie Central, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

St. Francis and Benzie Central will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Gladiators will face off against rival Grayling at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Benzie Central is set to square off against their familiar foe Tawas Area at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
