Preview: Lincoln Lions vs. Piedmont Hills Pirates
The Lincoln Lions will head out on the road to challenge the Piedmont Hills Pirates at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Piedmont Hills took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Lincoln, who comes in off a win.
Last Thursday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Lincoln beat Silver Creek 36-30. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Lincoln.
Meanwhile, Piedmont Hills' recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fourth straight loss. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 48-47 to Leigh.
Lincoln has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. As for Piedmont Hills, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost seven of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.
Lincoln lost to Piedmont Hills on the road by a decisive 44-29 margin in their previous matchup back in December of 2022. Can Lincoln avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
