Softball Recap: Palisade Takes a Loss

Palisade lost against Grand Junction Central back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bulldogs fell 6-2 to the Warriors. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Palisade saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Madi Gray, who went 3-for-4 with one stolen base.

Palisade now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Grand Junction Central, their win was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 1-5.

Palisade didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 7-6 victory against Rifle on the 2nd. As for Grand Junction Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 5-4 defeat against Ponderosa on the 5th.
