Recap: South Side Rams vs. Bentworth Bearcats
The South Side Rams entered their tilt with the Bentworth Bearcats with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. South Side blew past Bentworth, posting a 57-18 win at home. That's another feather in the cap for South Side, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Despite the loss, Bentworth still got an impressive performance from Amber Sallee, who scored 11 points. Another player making a difference was Kayla O'dell, who scored five points.
South Side's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Bentworth, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.
South Side will head out on the road to face off against Freedom Area at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Freedom Area is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Bentworth, they will be playing at home against Washington at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Washington focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 28 last Thursday.
