Softball Recap: Jasper County Drops Highest Score of Season Against Putnam County

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Jasper County). They were the clear victors by a 19-2 margin over the Putnam County War Eagles on Thursday. The Hurricanes haven't had any issues with the War Eagles recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Jasper County's win bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Putnam County, they are on a 16-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Jasper County will face off against rival Towers at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Putnam County is set to square off against their familiar foe Social Circle at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
