The scorekeeper got an easy start on Friday as neither Mountain View nor Discovery made it on the board until the fifth inning. The Bears narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Titans 4-2. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 10-3 victory on Wednesday.

Mountain View's win was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Parker Lee, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base.

Mountain View's victory bumped their record up to 14-15. As for Discovery, they dropped their record down to 6-15 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home.

As of now, neither Mountain View nor the Titans have any future games scheduled.
