Softball Game Preview: Starr's Mill Panthers vs. Marist War Eagles + How To Watch

The Starr's Mill Panthers will venture away from home to challenge the Marist War Eagles at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Starr's Mill will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.

It was a proper cat-fight when Starr's Mill faced off against Jonesboro on Monday. The Panthers never let the Cardinals get on the board and left with a 16-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won 15 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Marist posted their closest victory since September 13th on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past East Forsyth 2-1.

Starr's Mill has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Marist, their win bumped their record up to 15-9.
