Triton's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They walked away with a 32-22 win over the Harnett Central Trojans. The Hawks haven't had any issues with the Trojans recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Triton can attribute much of their success to Ja'Niah Smith, who posted 14 points. Another player making a difference was Neveah Hawley, who had seven points.

Triton's win bumped their record up to 8-16. As for Harnett Central, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-19.

Coincidentally, Triton and Harnett Central will both be playing Westover the next time they take the court. Harnett Central will head out to face Westover at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while Triton will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
