Softball Recap: Lithonia Takes a Loss

Lithonia fell victim to Northview and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Titans, falling 18-0. The loss continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Titans: they've now lost nine in a row.

Lithonia's defeat dropped their record down to 5-19. As for Northview, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-16 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lithonia will challenge Carver at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Northview, they will square off against Johns Creek at 5:25 p.m. on Tuesday. The Titans' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Gladiators have averaged an impressive 6.4 runs per game this season.
