Baseball Recap: Harvester Christian Academy Gets the Win

While Harvester Christian Academy's win against Cherokee Christian wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Hawks skirted past the Warriors 6-4. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 7-1 back in March.

The victory made it two in a row for Harvester Christian Academy and bumps their season record up to 10-3. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 1.5 runs across that stretch. As for Cherokee Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.

Harvester Christian Academy will face off against Heritage Preparatory at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Cherokee Christian, they will take on The King's Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Warriors' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Knights have averaged an impressive 7.7 runs per game this season.
