            Softball Recap: Alva Goldbugs vs. Chisholm Longhorns        
        
		
        
        
            Alva got themselves on the board against Chisholm on Friday, but Chisholm never followed suit. They were the clear victors by  a  15-0 margin over the Longhorns. The  victory continues a trend for the Goldbugs in their matchups with the Longhorns: they've now won six in a row.
 Trinity Stevens made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  struck out six batters over  3.2 innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in nine consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 2-for-3 with three  runs, one  double,  and one  RBI. That's the most  runs  she has posted  over her last 11  matchups.
