Softball Recap: Wapsie Valley's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Lisbon typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Wapsie Valley proved too difficult a challenge. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 victory over the Lions. Winning may never get old, but the Warriors sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Wapsie Valley's win bumped their record up to 20-3. As for Lisbon, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-8.

Wapsie Valley didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 6-4 loss against Sumner-Fredericksburg on the 25th. As for Lisbon, they have also already played their next contest, an 8-2 victory against Central City on the 26th.
