Soccer Recap: Le Grand Comes Up Short

Le Grand was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Denair Coyotes. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-3 back in January.

Their goal came courtesy of Elisa Angel, who's now up to ten this season.

Le Grand's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Denair, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5-1 record this season.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Mariposa County the next time they take the pitch. Denair will head out to face Mariposa County at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Le Grand will host them at 3:30 p.m. on February 7th.
