Baseball Recap: Jasper County's Win Ends Five-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Jasper County's game last Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They never let the Georgia Military College Bulldogs get on the board and left with a 13-0 win. The high-scoring effort was just what the Hurricanes needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

Jasper County's victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-7. As for Georgia Military College, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 5-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jasper County will venture away from home to take on St. Francis at 1:00 p.m. on March 15th. As for Georgia Military College, they will head out to challenge Georgia School for Innovation & Classics at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Georgia School for Innovation & Classics knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Georgia Military College likes a good challenge.
