Newton-Conover had to skate by with only a one-point margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 20-point drubbing they dealt North Lincoln on Friday. The Red Devils were the clear victors by a 42-22 margin over the Knights. The Red Devils pushed the score to 35-14 by the end of the third, a deficit the Knights cut but never quite recovered from.

When it comes to explaining why North Lincoln lost, don't look at Landen Agee. Despite the final result, he rushed for 109 yards and a pair of TDs on only 12 carries. Bradyn Still helped out on the ground, rushing for 121 yards.

Newton-Conover's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for North Lincoln, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.
