After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Westerville South, Briggs was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Marion Harding Presidents 3-2. Briggs haven't had any issues with Marion Harding recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Briggs' victory bumped their record up to 4-8-2. As for Marion Harding, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-10-3.

Looking ahead, Briggs will host Teays Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Marion Harding, they will take on Walnut Ridge in a tournament on the 15th.
