Softball Recap: Callaway Comes Up Short

Callaway was the 7-2 winner over Marion County when they last played one another on Wednesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Cavaliers fell 5-1 to the Eagles on Wednesday.

Callaway saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ella Kelly, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Callaway has also been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-18 record this season. As for Marion County, they moved to 19-9 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

As of now, neither Callaway nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
