Basketball Game Preview: Sankofa Freedom Academy Warriors vs. Parkway Center City Bulldogs

Sankofa Freedom Academy and Parkway Center City are an even 3-3 against one another since December of 2016, but not for long. The Sankofa Freedom Academy Warriors will be playing in front of their home fans against the Parkway Center City Bulldogs at 3:15 p.m. on Monday. Sankofa Freedom Academy is coming into the game on a six-game losing streak.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 44-15, which was the final score in Sankofa Freedom Academy's tilt against Franklin Towne on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Parkway Center City lost to Penn Treaty at home by a 49-35 margin on Friday. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Parkway Center City's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Sankofa Freedom Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

Sankofa Freedom Academy came up short against Parkway Center City in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, falling 52-42. Can Sankofa Freedom Academy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
