Basketball Recap: UR Academy Find Success

UR Academy won the last time they faced Covenant Classical and things went their way on Thursday too. The Lions managed a 47-42 win over the Warriors. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lions.

UR Academy found their leader in sophomore Micah Arant, who dropped a double-double with 21 points and 13 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Brysen Parker, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and nine boards.

Covenant Classical lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Trent Foster, who posted 11 points. Miles Miller was another key player, putting up nine points.

UR Academy now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Covenant Classical, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Looking ahead, UR Academy will square off against Judah Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Covenant Classical, they have already played their next game, a 72-51 defeat against North Hills Christian on the 14th.
