Soccer Game Preview: Central Christian vs. Hiland

The Central Christian Comets are taking a road trip to challenge the Hiland Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

On Tuesday, Central Christian and Canton Central Catholic finished up their match with a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Hiland entered their tilt with Tri-Valley on Saturday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. They never let the Scotties get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory. Give Hiland's defense some credit: that's the team's fifth straight shutout.

Hiland's win bumped their record up to 12-2-2. Central Christian's draw gives them a new season record of 11-2-2.

Central Christian came up short against Hiland in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, falling 2-0. Can the Comets avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
