Football Recap: Shawnee Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Shawnee extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 14 on Friday, dropping them down to 0-7. They were outmatched by the Indian Lake Lakers and fell 45-0. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Braves were not able to get on the board.

Derek Boehmer threw for 64 yards on 11 of 21 attempts.

As for Indian Lake, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-2. The final result isn't all that surprising considering their considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 168th, while Shawnee is ranked 553rd).

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Indian Lake to victory, but perhaps none more so than Noah Shirk, who rushed for 93 yards and three scores on only 13 carries. Brodey Reisinger was in the mix as well, providing the Lakers with two TDs.
