Soccer Recap: Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS Takes a Loss

Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs, falling 10-0. While losing is never fun, Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa soccer rankings (they are ranked 189th, while Dallas Center-Grimes is ranked 22nd).

Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-10-2 record this season. As for Dallas Center-Grimes, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 16-3-3.
