Basketball Recap: Penn Cambria Takes a Loss

Penn Cambria was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were beaten by the Bishop McCort Crushers 85-50. The Panthers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 50-29.

Despite the loss, Penn Cambria saw an underclassman step up: freshman Rachel Fisher posted ten points. Another player making a difference was Tagen McConnell, who earned eight points.

Penn Cambria now has a losing record at 9-10. As for Bishop McCort, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-3.

Looking ahead, Penn Cambria won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Somerset at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bishop McCort does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
