Malachi Davis had a dynamite game For McFarland., rushing for 90 yards and one TD on only 12 carries, while also throwing for 102 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only nine passes. Davis also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack, making nine total tackles (2.0 for loss), and defending two passes in addition to snagging two interceptions.

Tranquillity's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for McFarland, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.
