Malachi Davis has been named player of the year. "#5 Junior Captain QB/FS/KR Malachi Davis was an amazing leader for the Cougars in 2025. Malachi lead the team in the classroom with a 4.3 Academic GPA and was one of our Team Captains on the field. Offensively Malachi Lead the Central Section D6 in Passing with 2,742 yards and a 70% completion percentage. Malachi averaged 250 yards passing per game and threw 23 Touchdown Passes. Malachi is also in the top 10 in rushing in Division 6 with 138 carries for 966 yards and 13 rushing touchdowns. Malachi averaged 7 yards per carry. Malachi finish his junior season with 3,718 ALL PURPOSE yards and 35 Touchdowns. On defense Malachi finished 2nd in Division 6 in interceptions with 5 picks. Malachi was 4th on the team in Tackles with 96. Scored on Interceptions, fumble recoveries and kick returns. Malachi had an amazing Junior Year. Congratulations Malachi. "
