Volleyball Recap: Lake Travis Now 6-1 over Last Seven Games

After losing to Flour Bluff the last time they met, Lake Travis decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Cavaliers skirted past the Hornets 2-1.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Lake Travis got the one that really mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 19-25, 25-21.

When it comes to explaining why Flour Bluff lost on Thursday, don't look at Hollie Santos. Despite the final result, she had ten digs.

Lake Travis is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season. As for Flour Bluff, their defeat ended an eight-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 18-6.

Lake Travis and Flour Bluff should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. The Cavaliers (ranked 12th) will meet Cedar Park (ranked 81st) at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Flour Bluff will take on Corpus Christi Moody at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (73 vs. 910).
